Frequently Asked QuestionS

What are the passport and visa requirements?

U.S. citizens need a passport to visit Mexico, but no visa is required at this time. Passports will require at least one blank page for an entry stamp. Entry information can change, so please check the State Department’s current requirements. Nationals of all other countries should check travel requirements well in advance of their retreat.

What airport should I fly into?

Please fly into the Cancun International Airport (CUN). Transfers are available from the airport for flights arriving between 1pm - 5pm on the arrival day, and for flights departing between 10am - 2pm on the final day of the retreat.

How far is the schlep from the airport to the yoga retreat location?

Breathe easy. After a good portion of your day spent on the plane, we’re only going to ask you to sit still for a 30 minute ride. After that you are free to run it out on the beach, dance up a storm on the rooftop deck, and yoga yourself silly.

Are we on the beach?

This gorgeous yoga retreat center is directly across the street from the beach. It is in a residential, less touristy, section of town and gives you the best of both worlds — a quiet street for window shopping your way into town or a white sand beach across the street for relaxing, strolling and swimming.

Is there wifi access?

Absolutely. You can be as wired, or unwired, as you’d like.

Do I need to bring my own mat, block and strap?

Nope, you’re covered! The yoga room has mats, towels and blocks. Straps are the only prop you may want to bring if you use it regularly in your practice. You are welcome to bring your own mat and yoga props, but they are not required.

Is there swimming?

Naturally! Of course, there is the warm, clear ocean, but there is also a lovely pool at the ready. And don’t forget our water days as we splash down in the cenotes and snorkel with sea turtles.

Can I add meat to my meals, and can my dietary needs be accommodated?

No, and yes. This is a vegetarian retreat center and meat is not served. Eggs will be provided at breakfast for protein and some dinners may feature fish or seafood. Any dietary need or restriction can be accommodated (except adding meat), provided you notify us at least four weeks in advance.

Is there alcohol on property?

This is a dry retreat center, so they do not sell alcohol on property and ask that it not be brought into the rooms. Those of you on a detox-delicious-food-yoga-week, rejoice!

Those of you who would like to partake, never fear — there is a sweet little restaurant and bar across the street that stretches out to the beach and would be happy to help you out with a libation in your hand and your toes in the sand.

After I book and pay my deposit, can I make payments on my yoga retreat?

Yes! Of course. Once you’re booked you’ll receive an email with important logistical information and a link to your invoice. You can pay any amount at any time on the invoice — you can use it as a payment plan or leave it alone until the final due date.

Remember that deposits are non-refundable so, on all trips, we recommend purchasing travel insurance.
