Favorite Yoga Travel Moment
Normally children aren’t allowed on Travel Yogi trips, but I knew my friends — the Faulkners were the perfect fit for this trip. Indiana (Indi) is a 13-year-old who has practiced yoga with me many times and is more mature than most adults. She is also an incredibly gifted singer and musician, so together we planned for her to sing during savasana meditation one night. It was the most beautiful performance! People in meditation were crying, fully moved by the experience — they thought it was a recording. When the students sat up and realized it was ‘little Indi’ singing, they freaked out. It was one of my all-time favorite yoga moments ever.

Most Unique Experience
The nature on this trip was unbelievable. One moment you’re seeing black sand beaches, then waterfalls, rainbows, and lush green. People on social media asked if my pictures were real. I loved soaking up every moment of beauty in this amazing landscape. I hope to go back and explore more.
Most Memorable Moments
This was a very special trip because a television camera crew came along on retreat with us. The crew and host were so nice. They fit in perfectly with the group. Plus this retreat will be featured on their TV show ‘Raw Travel.’ I can't wait to see the episode and relive the experience all over again.
